Program Description:

The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education degree was created with the intent of meeting the requirements of all people interested in working in early childhood education and for those already working in preschools, public schools, child care centers, extended day programs, agencies, or other early childhood care facilities. Through this program the students specialize in teaching and administrating every aspect of early childhood program including knowledge of early childhood education and childhood development. People working in this field should possess a great love to work with young children, have creativity, patience and create techniques for improving relationships with adults and children.

For graduates of Elementary Education program with a specialization in Early Childhood Education, Institutional Recommendations are available.
